Government Secondary School Owerri was founded in 1935. It is a world class institution located in Okigwe Road, Imo State Nigeria.

Over the years, G.S.S.O. has strived to maintain a high standard in academics, sports, personal development, cultural and extracurricular activities.

As a result, it has produced numerous and prominent politicians, engineers, lawyers, doctors to name a few, all across Nigeria and around the world, who also give back to the community in which the were nurtured.
